INFORMATION:
The
HEARTLAND JUBILEE block rate at the KINGS ISLAND RESORT is $69.00 per night for
1, 2, 3, or 4 people per room for the 2010 dance. Please contact
the KINGS ISLAND RESORT for reservations and confirmation of your accommodations. Please indicate on your registration form if you will be staying at the HEADQUARTERS HOTEL. You must identify yourself as a
HEARTLAND JUBILEE SQUARE DANCER to receive this rate and for us to confirm that we have
reached our room guarantee.
We have a cutoff date of October 7, 2010. On this date the hotel is authorized to sell rooms from our block that we have not reserved. Kings Island Resort may at their discretion honor Heartland Jubilee rates to dancers after this date but are not required to do so by contract.
We are able to use the ballrooms because of the number of sleeping rooms that we occupy in the hotel. If you do not rent a room at the Kings Island Inn and choose to use a different hotel and we do not reach our guarantee room rental nights we will be responsible for some very steep charges from the hotel. If this happens then we will no longer be able to continue this dance convention at the current low pricing for rooms or the dancing. We have been holding the line on the dance and sleeping room fees for years with only small increases but our operating expenses to get the callers here and to pay them has greatly increased because of the economy. Please be a Heartland Supporter and get your room at the Kings Island Inn and Conference Center. We appreciate your help and cooperation.
